Ready to get to the root of your struggles & find real solutions?
You’re in the right place.
Come as you are. I’ll meet you there.
There’s a reason you’re here. Maybe you’ve been dealing with extra stress at work or in your relationships, and the overwhelming feelings and anxiety you’re experiencing are making it hard to function. Or maybe you don’t really know what’s causing it, all you know is that you are exhausted and over it.
Whatever has led you to seek therapy, I’m here to tell you that you can learn to manage stress, anxiety, and overwhelm. You can live a life filled with joy and hope.
In therapy with me…
We’ll start from the beginning.
In your first, hour-long session, I’ll ask you a series of questions that’ll help me get to know you. We’ll talk about the things that happened in your past, what you’re going through at present, and where you’d like to see yourself in the future. This information will be the foundation of the customized plan I’ll create for you.
I’ll be with you through the journey.
Whatever method of treatment we decide to pursue, I’ll be there to support you every step of the way. Therapy can bring up uncomfortable emotions that can be difficult to sit with, but my goal is to help you feel comfortable with these feelings and learn to move through them.
My clients have told me that they found it really easy to talk to me from the get-go, and that I made them feel comfortable and safe enough to really dig in and do the work to overcome their current and long-term anxieties and challenges.
I know that most of the real challenges happen between sessions, so you’ll have access to me at any time via my Client Portal. I make it a priority to be present and attentive to my clients in and out of session so that they can see the results they want as quickly as possible.
You’ll leave with everything you need to thrive.
Over the years, I have learned many different tools and skills that can help people who deal with anxiety, depression, or trauma function better in their day-to-day lives. Once I know more about you and your goals, I can tailor these tools to suit your needs and show you how to use them when stress, confrontation, or overwhelming emotions arise.
Through this knowledge, you’ll find a sense of confidence and trust that you’ll be able to handle whatever life throws your way.
You won’t find…
Judgement or criticism
Meeting many kinds of people all over the world has taught me that everyone deserves to feel heard and understood. Whatever you’re feeling and going through, I believe you, and I want to help you get to the other side of it. Whatever you choose to share with me in our sessions, there will never be any judgment from me.
Rigidity
After our initial session where we discuss your goals and history, future sessions can be used however you’d like. If you want to vent about what’s been troubling you this past week, great! If you’d rather delve deeper into your past and address broader concerns, or explore skills to improve your day-to-day, we can absolutely do those things too.
A cookie-cutter approach
Whatever you want out of life and out of therapy, I’ll tailor my approach to help you get it. If you’re neurodivergent, I can help you customize coping skills so that they’re accessible to you and will actually show results. We’ll address whatever concerns you feel are most important, and get you on a road to living the way you want to.
A never-ending treatment plan
Typically, I recommend weekly visits for 8 to 16 weeks. Although, if we get into deeper emotional and trauma work, it may require more time. Once they’ve met their desired goals, some people like to do check-in appointments every now and then. But ultimately, it’ll be up to you if you want to continue our sessions.
To Sum It All Up…
Imagine your life as a roadmap.
The things behind you are still connected to where you are now. As your therapist, I’ll walk beside you as you retrace your steps, and help you figure out the origin of the thoughts, feelings, and behaviors you’ve gotten so used to living with. That way, you can decide what direction you want to take moving forward.
