Therapy for Women in Columbus & Online Across Ohio

Discover balance & begin to thrive.

Change is possible.

On paper, your life seems to tick all the boxes.

You have a career, relationship, family, friends, hobbies… and knowing that only makes you feel worse about not being happy.

There’s a blanket feeling of overwhelm that applies to every part of your life. Despite the things you’ve achieved personally and professionally, you’ve never felt “good” enough. You wonder if you really deserve what you have and worry that you’ve somehow managed to fool everyone around you.

It’s getting harder and harder to push down the feeling that something is wrong.

Things keep piling on, and the pressure of all your responsibilities feels like it might crush you. Lately, you find yourself feeling more and more detached from those around you and from yourself.

Maybe something has changed recently at work or at home, and it has pushed you to realize how much stress and anxiety affect you day-to-day. Or, maybe something from your past continues to come up and cause feelings of dread or panic, and you wish you could “just get over it.”

All you know for sure is that you’re exhausted, and you can’t keep living like this.

Imagine what life would be like if you had everything you needed to feel better.

If you were prepared to face confrontation with confidence, knew how to better handle overwhelming emotions, and felt comfortable putting yourself first when you need to — what would be different?

Hi, I’m Merrianna.

I want to help you grow past this.

I believe that awareness of a problem is always the first step in finding a solution. Wherever you find yourself right now, I want to meet you there and help guide you toward getting what you need and want out of life.

In sessions with me, you can expect a comfortable, judgment-free space to explore how you’re feeling and dive into the ways your past is affecting your life now. I’m very open-minded, and want you to know that you can speak freely — I’m not here to criticize. Just to listen, support you, and provide insight.

Once I have a sense of what you’re going through, I’ll create a customized counseling plan that’s tailored specifically to you. You’ll learn tools and skills that will actually work, and find relief from the things that have been holding you back.

My goal is that you leave every session feeling that your time was productive and well-spent.

Let’s work together to overcome life’s challenges & face the future fearlessly.

  • It feels like you’re always waiting for something bad to happen, but you’re not sure when you started thinking that way. Worrying thoughts seem to spring up at the most inconvenient times, and at night you lie awake as they race through your head. Together, we’ll get to the bottom of why you feel so anxious all the time, and I’ll teach you how to move through those feelings with more ease. Learn more.

  • The experiences we have shape how we interact with the world around us. If you’ve been dealing with anxiety, depression, unfulfilling relationships, shame, guilt, or low self-esteem for any period of time, trauma could be at the root of your challenges. Whatever you’ve experienced in your past, I can teach you how to manage these feelings and move forward to live a life you love. Learn more.

  • Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing is a type of therapy that helps people move on from past traumatic experiences or distressing memories. It involves engaging both sides of your brain to reprocess those troubling memories so they don’t affect you as much. It’s a great avenue for those who haven’t been able to find relief through traditional therapy & who are ready to see results. Learn more.

  • Life has always felt more difficult for you than it seems for others—despite your efforts to stay on top of tasks, manage your time, and live like “everyone else,” your brain just works differently. ADHD is often misdiagnosed or missed entirely in adult women, but that’s not your fault. Therapy can help understand your ADHD, process the unique ways you experience it, and find ways to manage it in ways that work for you. Learn more.
